Job Description
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 educational setting in Naperville, IL, serving grades PreK-8. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek focused on delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to support student communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Support multidisciplinary teams in fostering student success and communication growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Credentials or experience related to SLP in healthcare, pediatrics, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school-based settings are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Commitment to working with PreK through 8th-grade students.
