Our Team INVISTA is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager to join our Gloucester team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing and managing essential facilities that support a leading manufacturing operation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a world-class operation and site by overseeing field activities and leading infrastructure development projects. What You Will Do As part of the Gloucester Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued safe operation and optimisation of equipment and facilities supporting the manufacture of Nylon-6,6 fibre for the industrial fibres markets. This opportunity has the potential to provide long term job satisfaction and progression within a growing business with ambitious targets. The manufacturing facility operates continuously 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and this is a day-based role. Key responsibilities include: • Manage building infrastructure, equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements. • Identify, scope and project manage building instalments and refurbishments. • Supervise and communicate with facilities staff, external contractors and vendors. • Keep building and all facilities up to code and ensure all maintenance protocol is followed. • Duty Manager cover on a rota to support the continued operation of the facility out of hours. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • Technical Qualifications in a discipline that supports Facilities Leadership and a desire to continue to advance professional and academic qualifications. • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively within a team environment. • Demonstrated initiative, the ability to manage work autonomously and deal with changing priorities. • High value for compliance, safety and environment. Experience of SSOW. • Strong desire to continuously learn and develop knowledge and skills. • Understanding of accounting and finance principles. • Great leadership and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail.
