A prestigious opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Manager to play a leading role in the delivery of a landmark mixed use redevelopment on Oxford Street, London. The scheme involves the transformation of a former department store into a high specification commercial and retail destination, positioned at one of the capital’s most recognisable and high profile addresses. As Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination, installation, and commissioning of complex MEP systems on this logistically challenging and high value project, working alongside other experienced Building Services Managers. You will manage one of the UK’s most respected Tier 1 M and E subcontractors, renowned for technical excellence and consistent delivery, ensuring seamless performance across all stages of construction. This is a true flagship scheme in one of London’s busiest commercial districts, offering an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Building Services professional to make a visible and lasting impact on a major city centre redevelopment. Key Responsibilities • Lead the on site delivery and coordination of all mechanical and electrical works, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme performance • Manage and interface with the principal M and E subcontractor and specialist trades to ensure efficient and technically compliant delivery • Oversee installation sequencing, testing, and commissioning to ensure all systems meet design intent and performance criteria • Work closely with project, design, and commercial teams to ensure effective integration across all disciplines • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to improve buildability and cost efficiency • Lead technical reviews, approvals, inspections, and quality assurance processes • Maintain strong stakeholder communication, client engagement, and ensure smooth system handover About You • Proven experience delivering MEP services on complex, large scale commercial or mixed use developments • Strong technical understanding of building services systems, interfaces, and sequencing, particularly within existing or constrained structures • Excellent coordination and leadership skills with the ability to manage on site teams and key subcontractor relationships • Commercially aware, well organised, and confident managing high value MEP packages in demanding environments • Adaptable, solutions focused, and comfortable operating within the challenges of central London delivery What’s on Offer • Salary of £85,000 plus a competitive benefits package • Benefits including car allowance, travel paid, private healthcare, and pension • Opportunity to work on a high profile Oxford Street scheme with Tier 1 subcontractor support • Long term project security with strong future opportunities across London This role is ideally suited to an accomplished Building Services Manager who thrives in technically demanding environments and wants to take a leading role on a flagship London redevelopment.
