The Role Due to sustained growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their dynamic pre-construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for residential and commercial construction projects and a passion for delivering high-quality results. This is a key role with the opportunity to influence project strategy and help shape future growth. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and utility projects * Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates * Lead tender submissions, cost planning, and value engineering exercises * Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather and validate pricing information * Provide support during the handover of successful tenders to the project delivery team * Evaluate risks and offer solutions to mitigate potential cost or delivery issues * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices and trends within the construction sector Key Requirements * Proven experience in a Senior Estimator role within the construction industry * Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and cost structures * Familiarity with façade and utility works is desirable * Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail * Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking, people-focused contractor * Involvement in a broad range of exciting and high-profile projects * Supportive team environment with a strong emphasis on training and career progression * A company culture built on trust, collaboration, and quality craftsmanship
