Full Time β Monday β Friday 8.00am β 5.30pm

Β£45,000 + p.a β Dependent on Experience

Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. We are seeking an experienced Joinery Workshop Manager to lead the manufacturing team and drive operational excellence.
The successful candidate must have extensive experience within the joinery industry, be self-motivated, ambitious and have a sound knowledge of taking off drawings, planning projects, costing and a strong productivity method of working.
The Joinery Workshop Manager will manage and motivate a team of joiners to produce purpose-built items, general shop fitting walls, unitary, pre-hung door sets and sheet panel systems to fast track lead times.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing all workshop operations, ensuring production schedules are met, quality standards are achieved and projects are delivered on time and to specification.
This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone with a joinery manufacture background, who has a passion for quality and continuous business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and manage a team of skilled Joiners.
- Plan & allocate workloads in line with project deadlines and client requirements.
- Monitor standards throughout the manufacturing process, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Manage stock levels, material usage and tooling maintenance.
- Implement improvement initiatives and enhance productivity.
- Control department budgeting and finances and report to Directors on monthly performance results.
- Ensure compliance with and Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Future growth expectations and advancement would be expected.
