Proactive Global currently is looking for a Workshop operator/Technician to join one of our customers based in Wallington-SM6. £12.21 – £13.68 per hour Wallington- SM6 Responsibilities: Through-hole assembly – loading of parts and hand soldering to printed circuit boards. Surface mount assembly – pasting and hand placing of components, and occasional hand soldering on PCBs. Ability to rework through-hole and SMD components would be an advantage. Operation of various assembly/cleaning/testing equipment (after suitable training has been given) including Neoden pick-and-place machine, Blundell cleaning machine, cable cutting machine, rework tools, oscilloscopes, etc. Cable assembly with hand crimping tools and hand/machine wire cutting. Electro-mechanical assembly. Potting of finished goods. Manual cleaning of PCBs (usually brush clean, but occasionally chemical spot cleaning) Inspection of goods assembled by other operators, using AOI comparator, Tagarno magnifier, or naked eye.Reasons why you should apply: If you are looking to work with a manufacturing company .
