Commercial Support Administrator – Building Services *** We are working in partnership a respected building services consultancy based in Caterham, to recruit a highly organised, proactive, and personable Commercial Support Administrator. This is a pivotal role within the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting the wider team with essential administrative, operational, and project coordination duties. You will be the first point of contact for engineers, clients, and suppliers, playing a vital role in maintaining efficient internal systems and supporting the submission of project applications and variation orders – critical elements of live and ongoing engineering projects. Location: Caterham Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (some flexibility) Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Benefits: 21 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, local parking paid What will your key responsibilities include? * Acting as the first point of contact—answering incoming calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately * Managing incoming tender enquiries: booking, processing, and distributing tenders to clients * Setting up new client files and maintaining accurate project and client records * Supporting the team with monthly project applications for payment by collating and submitting relevant documentation * Tracking and processing variation requests, ensuring timely communication and document accuracy across teams * Submitting regular reports and updates, including weekly timesheets, estimating updates, and quarterly project reports * Raising purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, and arranging replenishment of office supplies * Coordinating maintenance and calibration of instruments and office equipment * Handling all aspects of business travel: booking flights, accommodation, and transport (UK & internationally) * Organising work permits for European assignments Do you have the skills & experience for this role?
