We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Associate in Sport to join our dynamic academic team and help shape the future of sport education. About the Role As a Teaching Associate in Sport, you’ll play a key role in delivering high quality, engaging teaching that reflects UA92’s unique pedagogy. You’ll work across our growing portfolio of sport programmes, supporting student learning and development both inside and outside the classroom. What You’ll Do: Deliver seminars, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions in higher education (HE) sport and related subject areas and across levels, including BTEC provisions. Contribute to curriculum development and assessment design across programmes and levels. Provide clear and constructive feedback to support student progress across higher education levels and BTEC programmes. Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment where all students thrive. Collaborate with colleagues across the university, external partners and contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and learning. What We Are Looking For: An Honours degree in a relevant discipline and/or professional qualifications. A commitment to working towards a relevant postgraduate or teaching qualification (e.g. PGCert, HEA Fellowship). The ability to teach across a broad range of sport-related topics and levels. Experience (or strong potential) in higher education teaching, particularly in practical and applied learning contexts. Experience in delivering BTEC (or equivalent) teaching. Experience in BTEC (or equivalent) administration, particularly in professional sport. Confidence using digital platforms and tools to enhance the student experience. Supporting student wellbeing and development. Delivering sport degree apprenticeships or applied learning. Involvement in student recruitment, outreach or employer engagement.
