Customer Service Administration Location: Troston, Bury St Edmunds Hours: 08:30 17:00, Tuesday and Thursday Type: Part Time, Temporary Salary: £12 – £13 per Hour This is a part time role that will develop into a full time role with a highly regarded small business is currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join their growing team at their site based near Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with a strong administrative background and excellent communication skills to step into a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: •Inputting customer orders into an internal system accurately and efficiently •Coordinating transport and booking haulage using online carrier portals and email •Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and receipt •Communicating with customers and suppliers via phone and email •Handling and logging customer complaints in a professional manner •Liaising with warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and account status •Investigating stock queries and ensuring accurate records •Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers •Providing general administrative support to the wider team The Ideal Candidate Will Have: •Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role •A confident and professional telephone manner •Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) •Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities •High levels of numeracy and literacy •A positive, team-oriented attitude •The ability to work independently and under pressure This role offers a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team within a growing organisation.
