My client is a luxury manufacturer of made to measure, bespoke menswear they are looking to recruit a senior CAD Manager for the onsite Pattern Room. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business during a period of growth and technical improvement. The opportunity comes with further Lectra training and professional development for the right individual. Lectra / CAD Room Manager – The role * You will manage the experienced pattern team who are producing bespoke, made to measure and ready-to-wear garments. * Mange and assign workloads and prioritise projects * Work with senior management to Implement processes and output targets throughout the CAD and cutting departments. * Daily and weekly reporting to senior management. * Manage and report on efficiency gains in both labour and raw material costs * Regulaly review and refine working methods and implementation of new techniques * Manage pattern quality and accuracy standards required for factory production * Manage approvals, sealing and tracking processes for all pattern development. * Main point of contact for the Lectra Virga system both with Lectra and internally * Oversee and develop new RTW patterns and styles with the teams, including grading and marker making Lectra / CAD Room Manager – The candidate * You will have a strong technical background including firsthand pattern making, grading and lay planning experience * You will have a thorough understanding of Made to Measure and Ready to Wear developments. * You will be a confident user of Lectra Modaris and Diamino and able to train and lead in this area. * Knowledge of digitising patterns, creating and amending on CAD and managing bespoke developments. * You will be able to lead and develop a team, whilst ensuring smooth and efficient running of the pattern teams.
