Summary
We are seeking a dedicated NEC 3 Supervisor to support the refurbishment of a manufacturing facility in Rochester, Kent. This role involves overseeing two phases of enabling works followed by the main construction activities, with a project duration of up to 30 months. The Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and assessing various aspects of the project, including closely observing the construction process, conducting witness testing, and ensuring compliance with the Works Information and NEC contract requirements. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and managing defects, attending progress meetings, and issuing regular reports that document the sequence of works with supporting site photographs. The Supervisor will have the authority to instruct defect searches and is responsible for issuing the Defects Certificate at the end of the Defects Correction Period. This position requires extensive experience in civil engineering or construction supervision, with a strong understanding of NEC contracts and quality assurance processes.
