Senior Project Manager – Electrical (Building Services) Cambridge – Major Commercial Project Join one of the UK’s most respected Tier One contractors delivering technically complex building projects in partnership with leading clients. As part of a joint venture team on a high-profile commercial development, this role will give you the platform to lead a major electrical package valued at £25M+ — from design and procurement through to commissioning and client handover. This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role on a flagship multi-disciplinary project in the region, backed by the expertise and stability of a national contractor with a collaborative, delivery-first culture. The Role Report to the Operations Manager or Project Director within the JV delivery team Lead the end-to-end delivery of the electrical scope on a high-value commercial scheme Oversee all aspects of design coordination, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, and commissioning Ensure full integration of electrical works with wider MEP and construction sequencing Manage key project controls: programme, cost reporting, risk, H&S, and quality assurance Set project milestones, track performance, and take the lead on recovery or mitigation strategies Drive performance and compliance across subcontractors and internal teams Represent the project at client, design team, and governance meetings About You Strong track record delivering large-scale commercial MEP projects (ideally £25M+ combined services value) Proven experience managing multiple interfaces, subcontractor packages, and sequencing on complex live projects Excellent knowledge of UK building services, electrical systems, and commercial delivery best practice Confident in cost management, CVRs, financial forecasting, and profit improvement planning Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach to project execution and stakeholder management SMSTS (minimum) and strong working knowledge of H&S and compliance processes Why Apply?
