Job Description

Assess, advise, and provide a range of services aimed at maximising opportunities for personal independence within the community for people with various forms of disability. Develop services for a broad client group, utilizing the specialist knowledge base of Occupational Therapy.

Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post is based in Stonehaven but is peripatetic, covering the south of Aberdeenshire.

A driving licence is essential, and applicants must have access to a car.

Requirements

This role involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

The position requires two references, including one from your current or most recent employer.
