Job Role: Senior Planner Location: Manchester Duration: 12 Months + Rate: £450 – £500 Summary of the Senior Planner: I am currently recruiting for a Senior Planner with a strong rail/civil background to work on a major project based in Manchester. Responsibilities for the Senior Planner: Reporting to the Planning Manager and supporting the Project Controls Manager. Responsible for all schedules underpinning the clients main delivery, specifically construction. Coordinating and prioritising construction and mechanical works to maintain delivery through the construction phase. Providing leadership. Charing work management meetings. Supporting the review of work order backlog and making decisions on additions and deletions and understanding the impact on the facility and business objectives and strategies to ensure logical selection of work. Performing final review of schedule Coordinating and resolving issues. Requirements for the Senior Planner: Civils experience is a must / Rail is preffered You will have significant experience using relevant software.
