Salary:£29,046 to £30,960 per annum. Plus,generous benefitincluding:

About the role
As a Travel and Funding Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial support services and coordinating the College\’s transport provision.
You will oversee funding schemes including bursaries and hardship funds, ensuring that all processes meet strict audit and compliance standards. The role also involves coordinating with transport providers to ensure an effective and reliable service for students.
Alongside day-to-day operations, you’ll contribute to financial planning, data reporting, and service improvements, while offering practical advice and guidance to students navigating financial support.
About the Person
We are looking for an organised and approachable professional with experience supporting learners in an FE environment and managing financial processes.
You’ll have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a small team, handle sensitive issues with empathy, and build strong partnerships both internally and externally.
A confident user of data and reporting tools, you will be proactive in problem-solving and service development.
About the College
We are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us.
Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways. We are the largest provider of A-Level and vocational programmes for school leavers in the region; we offer nearly 35 A-Level subjects and over 80 vocational courses, including a wide range of T-Level pathways.
