Our dedicated Student Services Department has an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Student Engagement Officer.

As a Student Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for outreach engagement activities and promoting positive behaviours across Bradford College campuses. You will also help deliver a broad enrichment offer that develops students\’ personal and essential life skills in line with the Bradford College enrichment strategy.

Please note that interviews will take place on Tuesday, 22nd July.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing outreach support to students at all Bradford College campuses
  • Actively promoting positive behaviours across campuses and challenging inappropriate behaviours at the point of contact
  • Managing the student common room/social space daily
  • Providing youth mentoring and fostering positive interactions between students and the wider student services department
  • Supporting the Personal Development and Youth Engagement Lead in organising, coordinating, and delivering outreach services and events to develop students\’ personal development skills
  • Contributing towards the achievement of Student Service objectives, targets, and departmental KPIs
  • Providing opportunities for students to develop their Cultural Capital
  • Engaging students in activities that enhance their personal and employability skills
  • Organising and delivering initiatives and events to recognise and celebrate student successes and achievements
  • Facilitating student groups for input, advice, and involvement in designing student services activities
  • Ensuring all activities and student engagement are properly recorded
