MAN Commercial Protection are looking for a Retail Security Officer located in Peterborough

The shift pattern will consist of the following hours: Thursday 10:00-20:00, Friday 10:00-19:00, Saturday 09:00-19:00, Sunday 09:30-16:30.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
  • Deal with customer queries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all visitors and staff.
  • Respond to fire alarms and incidents on site, following the appropriate procedures.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is desirable.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • You must be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Full 5-year checkable work/education history
  • You MUST hold a valid SIA DS Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations calmly.
