Complex Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for a variety of ongoing and immediate-start contracts based in Maidstone. The role involves trailer swaps and store delivery work, covering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods.

Your Responsibilities As a Class 1 Driver
- Carrying out trailer swaps and store delivery work (chilled/frozen/ambient)
- Completing and checking all delivery paperwork
- Complying with internal company processes and policies
- Representing the business professionally during customer interactions
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle standards
- Following all UK driving laws, tachograph regulations, and working time directives
About The Class 1 Driver Within You
- Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 UK driving experience
- Must have driven at least 180 days in the last 2 years in the UK
- No more than 6 minor points on licence
- Must pass Working Time & Highway Code tests
- Willing to undertake a drug and alcohol test
- Able to pass a manual and written assessment
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal English)
- Able to handle queries professionally when dealing with clients
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
- Strong understanding of time-critical, fast-paced delivery operations
