About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of an ethical cosmetics manufacturer based in Poole, seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Cat C / Class 2 Driver to support their logistics and production teams on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys local work and wants to join a friendly, values-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport goods across various departments within the Nuffield Industrial Estate and wider Dorset area
Shunt stock and finished products between production sites and the warehouse
Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with health & safety standards
Adhere to company and legal driving regulations at all times
Working Hours:
Primary Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 15:00
Twilight Cover (occasionally required): Monday to Thursday, 14:30 22:00
Potential Saturday shifts: 06:00 14:00
Flexibility is essential, and candidates should be prepared to cover various shifts as required.
Requirements:
Full, valid Cat C (Class 2) HGV licence
Strong understanding of local driving regulations and vehicle safety
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Previous experience in shunting or similar local delivery work is preferred
Good attention to detail and a professional attitude
Additional Information:
Driving will be within Dorset no long-distance work
