JLA is driven by a world-class Sales & Marketing engine, owns and maintains all assets, and has an efficient on-site operations team working daily with customers.
Role Overview
This pivotal role within the Inventory team requires exceptional organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing stock orders with our machine suppliers, managing non-stock orders, and ensuring accurate delivery information is communicated and tracked, including chasing ETAs and price checking. Maintaining an up-to-date system that reflects reality is crucial for supporting our customer service colleagues.
The candidate will work across functions such as sales, customer service, engineering, technical, and finance, collaborating with our install and third-party warehouse teams to monitor supplier performance.
Key Tasks
- Setting up new products as approved by the product management department
- Issuing purchase orders to suppliers via the stock management system
- Working with suppliers to maintain accurate delivery due dates
- Ensuring pricing accuracy against supplier confirmations
- Liaising with other business functions to ensure smooth information flow
- Supporting the Inventory team with ad hoc requests and projects to maintain optimal stock levels
- Managing the returns process, ensuring timely handling and credit approvals
