We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Invoice Reconciliation Advisor to join our Finance team in Aylesbury. In this key support role, you’ll be responsible for matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and work documentation, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing. Where discrepancies arise, you’ll take ownership—investigating, resolving, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure everything adds up.

Your core responsibilities

  • Accurately matching supplier invoices to corresponding purchase orders and job documentation
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve variances
  • Investigate and resolve supplier queries professionally and promptly
  • Raise and process credit notes where required
  • Set up and maintain supplier account information
  • Support data entry and invoice filing duties
  • Prior experience in administration or a finance-related role
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in using D365 (Advantageous)
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to challenge inconsistencies
  • A team player with great communication skills
