Part II Architectural Assistant Job in Liverpool
A fixed-term opportunity has arisen with a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned design studio in central Liverpool. Known for its planning-led approach, this studio integrates architecture, landscape, and urban design under one roof, supported by a wider consultancy group with a strong national presence.
You will join a team working on local projects in residential and commercial sectors, collaborating with senior architects to develop projects from initial design through to planning and execution. This is a 3-month role with an immediate start, ideal for a Part II Assistant or a newly qualified Architect seeking practical experience in a supportive environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support delivery of multiple local projects under senior staff supervision
- Create detailed architectural drawings for planning and building control
- Prepare colour-rendered plans and elevations for submissions
- Coordinate with internal and external consultants
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary project coordination
Required Skills & Experience
- Post-Part II qualification with practical experience or newly qualified Architect
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign; SketchUp is desirable
- Confidence in preparing drawings and visuals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work full-time from Liverpool city centre office
