We are looking for a talentedCaféAssistantto join the team at our café located within the stunning and historic The British Museum.
The cafes at The British Museum serve freshly made coffee, sandwiches, salads, and cakes.
Please note: We are a 7 day operation, we requirefull time availability, fully flexiblestaffMonday – Sunday. Our hours are9am – 6:30pmevery day, except Fridays which may require a later finish of 9pm.
We Offer:
Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: 5 days out of 7
Contract: Full Time/ Fix term
About the Cafe Assistant role:
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks
- Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard
- Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1years experience in similar roles
- Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
- Excellent communication skills
- Takes the initiative
