- THE ROLE
- As an Educational Outreach Officer at Ulster University, the postholder will play a key role in building strong partnerships with widening access and participation (WAP) schools, creating exciting collaborative opportunities that raise young peoples aspirations for higher education. They will be at the forefront of nurturing formal relationships that support access and widen participation, helping to open doors for WAP students who might not otherwise consider university as part of their future.
- ABOUT YOU
- You will work within the Educational Partnerships team in Flexible Education to develop an infrastructure to support School Engagements, which actively enables and highlights Ulster Universitys Widening Access and Participation strategy.
- You will lead in the design, delivery, and dissemination of WAP school engagements and programmes to support the deployment and target achievement within Ulster Universitys WAP Plan.
- You will act as a key contact point for an allocated Faculty in relation to the co-ordination of educational outreach activity for WAP schools across the Northern Ireland region.
- You will design, co-ordinate, and deliver a structured sequence of in-person multi-campus activities (active learning workshops, summer camps, lectures, guest speakers, competitions, campus tours) to raise WAP learners aspirations and attainment.
