As we prepare to deliver on exciting new programmes and actively explore new programme ideas, we are looking for dynamic, passionate and talented individuals to join our team. We are recruiting a Senior Lecturer in Marketing.

The Marketing cluster has 34 permanent members of academic staff, including two Professors, along with a number of visiting fellows, adjunct teaching staff and doctoral students. It covers the following areas of teaching and research: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Global Marketing, Event Management, Business Management, Consumer Behaviour, Sustainable & Ethical Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, Data/ Marketing Analytics, Enterprise, and Marketing Services. Colleagues in the Marketing Cluster contribute to teaching across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the College of Business and Law.

We are currently looking to expand our capacity in Marketing and recruit a Senior Lecturer in Marketing. You will play a key role in delivering innovative teaching, developing applied research, and strengthening our relationships with industry in this fast-evolving area.

Bristol Business School comprises six subject clusters. Accounting and Finance; Economics; Human Resource Management; Marketing, Events and Tourism; Organisation Studies; Strategy and Operations Management. This post sits within the Marketing, Events and Tourism cluster.

About you: We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to excellence in teaching and practice to join Bristol Business School. The nature of our programmes means that candidates should be confident and comfortable working as part of a teaching team on large and sometimes interdisciplinary modules, as well as independently on smaller specialist modules.

To succeed in this role, you will require a sufficient depth and currency of specialist knowledge in your discipline, ideally with the ability to contribute to other related subject areas within the School, demonstrate a commitment to teaching with the ability to engage and inspire students within a variety of academic settings, and be able to design innovative teaching materials using a technology enhanced approach.

The focus of the post is to deliver outstanding learning outcomes for our students through exceptional teaching and learning on academic programmes within the School, as well as engaging in knowledge exchange, impactful research and other activities that enhance and inform teaching delivery, design and curriculum development.
