If the answer is yes, then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd. have an exciting opportunity for an Operator to join our Production team working across all of our FMCG production lines at our site in Folkestone, Kent.

Production Operators ensure that our high-speed production lines run effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving any issues that arise.

You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours that run from either 6am – 6pm or 6pm to 6am on a 4 on 4 off pattern. The shifts are either days or nights.

Skills

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and display a positive attitude to learning and adapting to change. In addition, they will:

  • Ideally, have previous experience of working within FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Have a good standard of verbal and written English
  • Have a basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers
  • Ideally, have previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage
