We have an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our Great Yarmouth team. As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential., As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey

  • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral

  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination

  • Supporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.

  • Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Courts, police and probation.

  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement

  • Assess suitability for group work in terms of safeguarding risk and special requirements

  • Carry out risk assessments and risk management

  • Ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are adhered to and that consent to share information is a key element to building trusting therapeutic alliances

  • Adhering to all relevant safeguarding processes

  • Have an understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field

  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with proficient IT skills

  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills

  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders

  • Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards

Where: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £27,449.52 – £31,529.41 dependant on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026 Responsibilities, * 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising by 1 day for each years’ service, rising yearly for the first five years (30 days)
