This position\’s primary objective is to operate packing dock equipment to supply packed products for the commercial division and to assist with other site operations as required, within the field of experience and training.

Key accountabilities

Support the packing dock team in ensuring planned output volumes of packed products are met safely, on time, and in full. Carry out front-line maintenance within your field of training and ensure housekeeping standards meet the levels agreed with the Production Supervisor. Assist with loading finished products and unloading incoming materials essential for the operation of the plant.

Operate shift patterns as agreed with the Production Supervisor and in line with the national agreement. Provide support within other areas of the plant as needed.

Liaise with other team members to promote team effectiveness.

Participate in other site activities as required.

Job requirements

Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental impacts related to the role. Positive attitude towards training to carry out all packing dock activities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education/Qualification

Standard level of education enabling good written and verbal communication skills.

Essential experience required

Strong IT skills are essential.
