About The Role
Our Food and Beverage department are a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our Chefs are crucial in the smooth running of the kitchen ensuring that our passengers are sent off on their journey satisfied. We bet you’re thinking “so what is it I will actually be doing day to day?” well….
- I will be responsible for overseeing and managing the kitchen team
- I will be accountable for the kitchen operating in line with company, industry and regulatory standards.
- I will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of all meals.
- I will work with the F&B Manager to create recipe cards for all new menu items.
- I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

- I hold a level 2 in Food Hygiene
- I hold a level 2 in Health & Safety
- I have advanced experience of working in a kitchen and can demonstrate working knowledge of food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.
- I have experience in supervising a kitchen team.
- I have experience working to KPI’s and within budgets.
