THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Production Operator to work for our client on a temporary to permanent contract centring on a dayshift and backshift only role. Due to the company location it will prove advantageous for candidates to hold their own transport. This is an amazing opportunity for the successful candidate to join a high-volume manufacturing organisation who is transitioning into becoming a world class manufacturer. THE ROLE
- Operate as part of the process team to meet targets in all relevant areas of activity, and to ensure that products are produced in accordance with the agreed production/business plan.
- Accountable for ensuring that Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards are applied in all production plant areas in accordance with policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in a continuous improvement environment in all areas of process team operations. Identify opportunities for improvement in all aspects of process operations.
- Identify areas to Reduce, Recycle, Reuse or Remove waste generation from production runs as part of the Company’s Environmental policy and commitment.
- Ensure Production paperwork is completed correctly and in full.
- Effective one to one handover on plant.
- Flexible working across plant areas
THE PERSON
- Experienced at following verbal and written process
- Computer literate with accurate data inputting skills
- Proven ability to working with production machinery
THE PACKAGE
This is a temp to perm , full time role centring on a 40 hour week. Monday – Friday; 7am to 3pm, and 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am
