THE BUSINESS
Our client is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team as they continue to grow and expand operations. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an employee-focused business that is committed to personal development and long-term career growth.
THE ROLE
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in contributing to the team’s success. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality sheet metal fabrications and ensuring that health and safety standards are met. The role will include a practical test, and it is advisable to bring your own PPE for this. Responsibilities include:
- Performing sheet metal fabrication and welding to high standards
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Participating in a practical test as part of the hiring process
- Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Carrying out other duties as required within the scope of the role
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo a practical test
