As a Graduate Sustainability Consultant, you will receive comprehensive support from senior team members, ensuring a robust foundation in sustainability design advice, modelling, and reporting. This role promises a diverse range of projects, working with both public and private sector clients, and covering new builds and refurbishments from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct BREEAM assessments
– Prepare sustainability statements for planning
– Perform low zero carbon technology (LZC) feasibility studies
– Undertake passive design analysis and reporting
– Model and report embodied carbon using One Click LCA Software
Once proficient in these core areas, there will be opportunities to delve into other aspects of sustainability consultancy, such as health and well-being (WELL and Fitwel), SKA, and circular economy assessments.
Skills and Experience Required:
– A degree (or equivalent) in Environmental/Sustainability/Architectural Technology or a related discipline is essential. An MSc in these subjects would be advantageous.
– Working knowledge of BREEAM assessments and experience with One Click LCA Software for life cycle and embodied carbon analysis is beneficial, though training will be provided.
– Strong collaborative skills, both within the business and externally, are crucial. A conscientious and committed approach is essential.
– Excellent organisational skills, a proactive and flexible mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timescales are required.
– Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
