An Opportunity has arisen within the CLD Youth Services Team for a School Keyworker. The post will be Fixed Term until March 2026 although this may be extended. You will provide key worker support to young people who are approaching their school leaving date and who require some support to progress into a positive destination. You will work with young people to remove barriers and support them into training, further education or employment. This post is funded by the UK Governments Shared Prosperity Fund.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
