What You\’ll Do
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will support the management of a dynamic portfolio of partnerships with premiere, global, cross industry, and cross function organizations, aligned to BCG’s strategic thought leadership and commercial priorities, that allow BCG to gain a seat at the table with our target audience, such as the World Economic Forum.
In this role, you’ll coordinate key projects and events, and ensure seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
Main responsibilities on partnership management:
- Orchestrate, supporting the Partnership Senior Manager, the overall engagement with the World Economic Forum
- Act as a point of contact for specific partnership activities, engaging and supporting BCG Senior Executives in these initiatives
- Advocate for BCG\’s needs and priorities with partner (e.g., getting speaking roles at events)
- Coordinate projects run in collaboration with the partner (including project staffing, contracting, overall governance, and amplification)
- Guide PAs and marketing teams on best practices to publish and amplify partner content, with specific focus on content supporting global campaigns
- Own internal tracking systems and documentation to ensure alignment on deliverables, visibility of deadlines, and knowledge management
- Support BCG’s presence and activation at flagship events (e.g. Davos)
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including very senior stakeholders
- You have exceptional attention to detail and excellent coordination and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple inputs and to organize data effectively
- You are comfortable working in a virtual team environment across time zones and cultures, with ability to proactively drive responsibilities and self-manage to the highest quality standards
- You are able to perform successfully and in a positive and friendly manner in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture
- You have a “whatever it takes” team player and collaborative attitude
What You\’ll Bring
- Ideally 6-10 years BCG or equivalent experience; practical experience in project management is very helpful and international experience a plus
- Very strong written and spoken English language skills; second language a plus
- Proficiency in all software used at BCG; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
- Good knowledge of BCG networks, processes and structures a plus
- Willingness to travel, as presence at some meetings will be required
Who You\’ll Work With
You will work most closely with the Global External Relations Senior Manager and with the rest of the Global External Relations & Events team, made up of roughly 25 individuals. Moreover, to coordinate and delivery projects’ value you will need to partnering with the extended marketing (global, PA and Local) and HR teams.
