Overview

Volunteer accountant needed by micro Community Interest Company that harvests surplus fresh produce and distributes it to food banks and schools in South Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the CIC\’s annual accounts and CT600 and submit these to HMRC in the correct format for the financial year 2025-2026 onwards.
  • Ensure accounts are prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 105 for micro entities, using the accrual method of grant accounting.
  • Coordinate with volunteers who carry out day-to-day bookkeeping.

Qualifications

  • Chartered accountant (preferred), either local to Swansea or able to work remotely from another location.
