Every year, we carry out over 500,000 tests on water samples collected from treatment works, reservoirs, and customer properties to ensure high-quality drinking water.

  • Collecting samples from various locations involves regular cold calling, requiring strong customer service skills. You will be responsible for testing the samples as requested, using equipment provided, including bottles, thermometers, etc.
  • You will oversee the management of sampling records and equipment, ensuring compliance with UKAS and DWI standards.
  • Plan your workload, deliver monitoring programs, and liaise with various teams for technical data, regulatory, and reactive work, following company protocols.
  • Investigate supply issues, plan routes, and coordinate collection programs.
  • Arrange appointments, sample customer complaints, and participate in events.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours roster, including weekends, on a five-week rotation.
  • Driving is a significant part of this role; comfort with driving large vans is essential.
