The Role
As a Trainee Manager, you will support your Store Manager in driving sales and managing daily store operations. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, optimize KPI performance, and support your team to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support your Store Manager in store performance and operations, taking responsibility in their absence.
- Drive sales and KPI improvements by identifying focus areas and implementing plans.
- Provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Offer personalized VIP concierge services, including product updates and tastings.
- Promote and share your passion for products through tastings and managing tasting events.
- Assist in recruiting, managing, and developing team members, supporting their product knowledge and qualifications.
- Maintain the store’s appearance and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Identify operational improvements and support internal communications and updates.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Experience in retail or hospitality environments, working as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Understanding retail KPIs and how to improve them.
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- WSET 2 qualification is desirable; willingness to progress to WSET 3 for career advancement.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

- Hours: 39 or 45 hours per week
