Job Description:
If you’ve always dreamed of a career in travel, but lack previous industry experience, our New to Travel Programme is designed for you!
This programme is open to target-driven candidates with a passion for travel and at least one year of sales or target-driven experience. You will receive intensive virtual classroom training to learn about our systems, products, and destinations before joining a Hays Travel branch near you.
The fully paid six-month programme is aimed at those already in retail or sales roles. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a permanent Travel Consultant role.
The first ten weeks involve virtual classroom training with our Learning and Development team, covering our service ethos, sales techniques, system usage, and product knowledge.
After training, you\’ll work alongside experienced Travel Consultants and managers to refine your skills. At the end of the programme, you\’ll take a final assessment, and upon passing, start your career as a Travel Consultant with Hays Travel.
