Sales Manager / Business Development Manager £55,000 – £65,000 per annum  Nantwich  Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead an established sales team and drive commercial success. This role involves acquiring new business, managing key accounts, developing existing relationships, and overseeing the sales function within a high-performing, customer-focused organisation. Key Responsibilities Cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with top clients by understanding their evolving needs and offering tailored solutions. Guide, support, and develop the sales team through coaching and mentorship. Establish sales budgets, monitor performance, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key sectors, manage the sales pipeline, and follow up on leads. Attend exhibitions and client meetings to secure new business and retain existing clients. Provide competitive quotations and negotiate to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by monitoring account health and ensuring internal teams meet service expectations. Produce monthly sales reports and contribute to the company\’s growth as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Key Skills & Attributes Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver results. Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and hands-on execution skills. High attention to detail to ensure customer requirements are correctly interpreted and fulfilled. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Experienced in project management and problem-solving. Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm. Comfortable operating in a hybrid Business Development/Account Management role. Team-oriented: hungry, humble, and smart. Experience Required 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in an SME or fast-growing environment.
