This role will play a pivotal role in identifying, securing, maintaining, and nurturing relationships with wholesale clients and new key accounts. You will oversee a portfolio of wholesale accounts, managing their orders, addressing concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to provide exceptional customer service.
The Wholesale Account Manager is responsible for maximising sales opportunities, identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the wholesale department.
As the Account Manager, you are the main point of contact for the wholesale partners. Internally you represent that partner too, working with and influencing buying and merch teams to deliver targets and fulfil customer needs.
You will be working on the key accounts for online retail companies and taking the product through from order to delivery.

Main Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of wholesale accounts, managing their orders, addressing concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to provide exceptional customer service. This role must strive to exceed customer expectations through exceptional service and support, whilst anticipating the client’s needs and proactively addressing potential challenges.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, product information, and resolve issues promptly.
- Analyse client accounts to maximise sales opportunities, identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the wholesale department.
- Negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with company policies and client requirements.
- Drive and manage the Global Wholesale business in line with long term business objectives.
- Active and autonomous management of wholesale accounts to achieve agreed sales targets, and to leverage all opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- Manage the current account base while proactively seeking out potential target customers in accordance with company strategy.
- Work together with the marketing team to maximise exposure across different platforms.
- Develop and nurture strong business relationships with key accounts and ensure opportunities for growth are maximised.
- Strategic planning and execution of wholesale expansion.
- Plan and achieve seasonal sales budgets.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Generate regular reports on sales performance, account status, and customer feedback.
- Monitor and utilise sell-through information to work on fast replenishment, oversee and ensure a smooth process for client payments & logistics.
- Carry out staff training for wholesale partners to ensure the brand knowledge and representation are up to standards.
- Work closely with design and demand planner on strategy, trends, margin, volumes etc.
- Act as a brand ambassador and be a part of as many brand events as possible, both internal and external.
- Ensure brand material is distributed to wholesale accounts.
- Administrative duties relating to processing wholesale duties as and when required.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant departments while keeping clients informed of progress.
Skills & qualifications
- 3+ years’ proven experience in wholesale or account management preferably within the fashion / beauty industry.
- Ideally have experience in international accounts.
- Experience in B2B, Ecommerce, and working with distribution partners.
- White label experience is highly desired.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in budgeting, and costing.
- Strong analytic and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent organisation, communication and project management skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure and delivering against tight deadlines.
- Results driven.
Salary: £32,000.00 – £34.500.00 per annum DOE, with OTE £50,000.00 (Uncapped)
