> Support Region Head of Purchasing in definition of specific country purchasing strategy and actions,
ensuring adequate response to the needs of the business in the country.
> Deploy commodities strategies, and standard tools defined by central teams in their perimeters.
> Accountable for purchasing performance (including satisfaction of Business), proper execution of
the purchasing strategy (incl. commodity strategies) in the Country and compliance of global policies.
> Manages the purchasing workforce located within the Country in strong collaboration the Commodity teams

Your profile and competencies to succeed
> Ability to make cost-quality trade-offs and challenge the status quo
> Expertise in purchasing, negotiations and contract management
> Effectiveness in engaging and managing multiple stakeholders
> Ability to drive data-driven decision making
> Experience in implementing standard purchasing processes and tools
> Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and empower teams and foster
collaboration
> Comfort working in a pressured environment with ambiguity and change
> Highly Fluent/Native Japanese and English Fluency/high business level.
> Guide regional / local teams to implement best practice commodity management techniques
> Ensure regional / local teams to implement standards, processes and tools consistent with overall purchasing function
> Lead and manage the team of regional / local buyers and support staff
> Define and deliver a regional skill development and recruiting plan across buyers
> Prefer a degree in business, purchasing or engineering, and/or professional certification
