Job Overview
You will be a key member of the payroll team, responsible for processing a busy in-house payroll during a critical project phase within the Payroll & HR department.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Processing multiple monthly payrolls from start to finish
- Handling HR administration such as starters, leavers, and absence reporting
- Supporting the project team during UAT and parallel runs
- Preparing month-end payroll reports
- Conducting system audits between HR and payroll systems
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Experience managing payroll processes from start to finish
- Relevant telephone communication experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies
- Experience working in a UK payroll environment
- Familiarity with multiple payroll systems
- Good understanding of UK payroll legislation
