Stadium Stewards Opportunities – Join Our Event Safety Team at Solihull Moors FC!
Are you passionate about live sport and keeping people safe? We\’re looking for vigilant Stadium Stewards to join our matchday and event safety team!
As a Stadium Steward, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and enjoyment of spectators during events. You\’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground, helping to manage crowds, provide information, and respond to incidents professionally and efficiently.
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Contract Type: Part-Time / Event-Based
Pay Rate: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)
- Provide excellent customer service and guidance to spectators.
- Carry out safety and security checks before and during events.
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or emergencies.
- Support evacuation procedures if necessary.
- Work closely with the supervisor and event control staff.
- Monitor crowds and enforce stadium policies (e.g., no smoking areas, restricted access).
Requirements:
- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (advantageous but training can be provided).
- Level Two Door Supervisor Licence (Not essential, plus access to training available)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- A responsible and proactive attitude to safety.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Previous stewarding experience is desirable but not essential.
- All Stewards must provide a valid DBS Check
