Portfolio Payroll is collaborating with a well–established organisation in the manufacturing sector to recruit a Pensions and Benefits Admin on a full–time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Professional to join a respected organisation who is rewarding and supportive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all payroll and pension tasks are compliant with the latest legal and policy requirements.
- Oversee the full payroll cycle, from data collection through to BACS submission.
- Manage leave–related pay, including statutory entitlements like maternity, paternity, and sick pay.
- Apply and monitor both statutory and optional deductions from salaries.
- Act as a key point of contact for managers and HR, resolving payroll and pension concerns promptly.
- Process and maintain accurate employee tax records, including P45s, P60s, and real–time HMRC submissions
- Reconcile payroll and benefits data monthly, investigating and correcting variances.
- Complete annual pension submissions and maintain pension records accurately.
- Administer pension scheme updates and ensure timely auto–enrolment processing.
- Maintain benefit system records, handling updates for new hires and monthly changes.
- Assist in delivering the annual benefits cycle, ensuring financial accuracy and system updates are in place.
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in payroll and pension
- Strong understanding of pension regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of GDPR
