An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small, busy Finance Team to assist in the day-to-day management of the Authority’s financial systems.
The role will be responsible for reviewing and checking the work of the Finance Assistants, reconciling control accounts, preparing the quarterly VAT return, monitoring cashflow requirements and producing notes for the statutory year end accounts.
Applicants should have experience in a similar role and ideally have an AAT qualification. We are looking for a proactive person who is a problem solver, works well in a team and has good communication skills via several platforms.
While the candidate is new to the role, they will initially be office based. However, subject to the candidate successfully completing tasks, the role will be split between home and the office, subject to a trial period.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 23 January.
Interviews will be held at Yare House, Norwich on Monday 3 February.
