We are currently looking to fill a number of Governor roles throughout schools within the Rochdale Borough. Being a Governor is a rewarding and effective way of making a voluntary contribution to your community and to the lives of young people. Governors are appointed by the Governing Board and are the strategic leaders in schools.

Time commitment:
- attendance at a termly board meeting
- attendance at committee meeting/s
- spending time working with school and attending school events (where appropriate)
You will be supported in your school by your Headteacher and fellow Governors; you will have access to support from the Local Authority Governor Support Team and access to training through the REAL Trust.
