We have an opportunity for a Full Time role for an Electrical Technician to join the team at Mid Devon District council in our Old Road Depot, Tiverton.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our highly successful Housing Building Services team.
Candidates should be educated to NVQ level 3 in Electrics and hold the most current BS 7671 18 th edition regulation qualification. Candidates will need to show relevant demonstrable experience with knowledge of their time in the electrical trade.
Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager you will have be involved in carrying out all aspects of domestic electrical work within our housing stock.

As an Electrical Technician your duties will include but are not limited to:
- To undertake Electrical engineering & Electrical duties including reactive repairs, Electrical testing, PAT testing, wiring installations and associated works.
- To undertake surveys and provide detailed drawings and costings as required.
- To diagnose faults and diligently undertake all core and other trade works, as instructed, ensuring that the quality of work meets the highest standards and that targets are achieved.
