This individual will be responsible for protecting TP ICAP’s intellectual property by setting clear and robust policies governing PS’s commercial interactions with end-user clients, redistributors, and channel partners. This position will require strong stakeholder engagement, including gaining consensus across internal teams and presenting recommendations to the PS Executive Committee. The successful candidate will ensure the effective implementation, adoption, and ongoing development of PS’s commercial policy, positioning it as a foundational element of the division’s growth and integrity. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity and commercial strength of our offering. Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive and documented commercial policy framework aligned with PS’s strategic objectives. Act as a subject matter expert, providing direction on commercial terms and client interaction strategies to safeguard TP ICAP’s intellectual property and commercial interests. Lead on the communication and rollout of commercial policy across internal teams and external partners. Governance & Compliance Ensure consistent adherence to commercial policy across all teams and regions; monitor compliance, identify breaches or risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact PS’s commercial policy, and adapt strategy accordingly. Regularly review and analyse Management Information (MI) on policy compliance, breaches, and trends to inform continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement Provide expert guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring commercial policy is embedded in all relevant business processes. Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Product, and Compliance teams to ensure policies are practical, enforceable, and aligned with evolving commercial objectives. Lead by example, promoting a high-performance, values-led culture. Provide direction, motivation, and coaching to direct and indirect reports to build a high-performing, policy-aware organisation. Identify and address skills or knowledge gaps within teams through appropriate training and development opportunities. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and ethical business conduct. Experience / Competences Minimum of several years’ experience specifically in commercial policy design, development, and implementation within financial services or market data industries. Proven track record of developing and embedding commercial policy frameworks that drive business integrity and protect IP. Deep knowledge of commercial policy issues, best practices, and compliance risks relevant to financial market data. Demonstrated and proven leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated experience managing and engaging teams with a focus on performance, collaboration, and alignment to business objectives. Previous management or team leadership experience. Effective relationship builder with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex policy matters simply.
