An Introduction to the Naviam Graduate Scheme:

Spanning over 18 months, the Naviam Graduate Scheme gives individuals the opportunity to experience working for an industry leading EAM practice. Throughout the scheme you will experience working in various teams and on an array of interesting projects. The scheme allows for a number of rotations into different departments, along with a buddy mechanism to ensure that you have the correct support to flourish in your role.

Upon successful completion of the Graduate scheme, you would be eligible to apply for permanent roles within the organisation. Previous Graduates are now employed in roles ranging from Information Security to Technical Development.

Main Purpose:

The Graduate Project Manager supports the delivery of business and technical projects (both internally and externally) by working with a multitude of stakeholders across the organisation(s).

Specific Responsibilities:

You’ll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, contributing to planning, control, and assurance. You\’ll help set up and close projects, manage finances, and assist with governance and reporting. You’ll also support senior managers, track risks, and monitor delivery performance. It’s expected that the role will include the following elements:

  • Assisting senior project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of Maximo-related projects.
  • Track project schedules, risks, issues, and deliverables using standard PMO tools and templates.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation including project plans, status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and client workshops, ensuring agendas and outcomes are clearly documented and followed up.
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day project communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project to support project tracking.
  • Learn and apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies depending on the project approach.
  • Support in commercial estimations and project sizing activities.

Person Specification

The Ideal candidate will be a highly motivated gradate with a proactive attitude and strong desire to build a career in IT Project Management within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and technology consulting. You will be eager to learn, adaptable, and possess strong interpersonal skills that enable you to work effectively with clients and internal teams alike.

Skills & Personal Qualities – Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in enterprise software, asset management, or IT service delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Skills & Personal Qualities – Desired:

  • Exposure to project management tools or concepts (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Agile, Scrum).
  • Internship or work placement in a technology or consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with IBM Maximo or other EAM/CMMS platforms
