The School of Construction and Engineering is looking for a Learning Assistant to support our students with theory and practical activities in Brickwork. This exciting opportunity will allow the right individual to pass on their knowledge of the Brickwork industry to our students. This is a hands-on role in our workshops, supervising and coaching students whilst assisting the lecturers. If you have a flair for passing your knowledge on to others, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to act as a role model, this could be just the job for you. You will support with the setup and preparation of classrooms, workshops, and resources; working to ensure all equipment and stock is maintained and meets the needs of the students and industry requirements.You will be able to assist students with their practical work and impart your industry experience to further develop our student\’s employability skills relevant to their career goals. The successful candidate should have current industry knowledge and ideally, have relevant qualifications at level 2 & 3.
